Private Pool Functions

The Pool and Cabana are available for rental from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Curtis Pond Pool Manager, 172 Elrosa Road, Mooresville, NC 28115, receives reservations for private pool functions in writing. The details of the function must be coordinated with the pool manager one week prior to the function. The Pool Committee then reviews and recommends approval or denial of the request to the Liaison Board.

Before and After Hour Parties

Morning functions are available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and evening functions are available from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Evening functions are to be over by 10:30 p.m. to allow for clean up and lifeguard lock-up by 11:00 p.m. Lifeguards must be on duty during all functions. No alcohol allowed.

The Rental Charge for the Cabana and the Pool is $50.00

The Deposit Charge is $250.00.

This $300.00 check should be made payable to Curtis Pond HOA and be submitted directly to Herman Management Company, Huntersville, NC. After the function, the lifeguard(s) will inspect the premises and report any damages to the Curtis Pond HOA. Herman Management will mail the deposit amount to the host if no damage occurred. In the event of damage, Herman Management will deposit the check and make a damage assessment of the property. Herman Management will refund any remaining balance by mail to the host with a copy of the listed damage and replacement and/or repair cost. If the damage is more than $250.00, Herman Management will invoice the host for the additional damage. The host has 30 days in which to make full payment for damages or an appeal, and is subject to a property lien if he takes no action.

The host is responsible for contacting the pool manager directly at (704) 799‑0929, one week prior to the function to determine how many lifeguards will be required. The host should fill out all paperwork and return to the pool manager with check attached to pay Carolina Pool Management Company, (CPM), for the lifeguards at a rate of $17.00 per hour per lifeguard for non-alcoholic parties. (CPM charges $28.00 per hour for lifeguards to work parties serving alcohol, which is in violation of Curtis Pond’s rules). Clean up of the pool area is the sole responsibility of the host.

During Pool Hour Parties

The Rental Charge for the Cabana and the Pool is $25.00

The Deposit Charge is $25.00.

There will be a $25.00 charge and a $25.00 deposit to hold a function during pool hours. These checks should be made payable to Curtis Pond HOA and be submitted directly to Herman Mgmt. Co., Huntersville, NC. After the function, the lifeguard(s) will inspect the premises and report any damages to the Curtis Pond HOA.
